CONCERNING
IMPROVEMENT OF THE FORM OF CUSTOMS DECLARATION ON THE IMPORT OF PERSONAL EFFECTS OF PASSENGERS OR CREW MEMBERS OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES (BC 2.2.) IN DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE NO.101/KMK.05/1997 DATED MARCH 10, 1997
THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
Considering:
- a. that in the framework of regulating, keeping and maintaining the stability of the value of the Rupiah currency and exercising supervision over the traffic of money circulation to guard against the possibility of the entry of counterfeit rupiahs into the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, a provision has been stipulated on the exit or entry of the rupiah currency from or into the territory of the Republic of Indonesia;
- b. that in connection with the above, it is deemed necessary to stipulate again the model and content of a customs declaration on the import of personal effects of passengers and crew members of transportation facilities (BC 2.2) in Decree of the Minister of Finance No.101/KMK.05/1997 dated March 10, 1997 in a decree.
In view of:
- 1. Law No.10/1995 on customs affairs (Statute Book No.75/1995, Supplement to Statute Book No.3612/1995);
- 2. Government Regulation No.18/1998 on the exit or entry of the rupiah currency from and into the territory of the Republic of Indonesia (Statute Book No.30/1998, Supplement to Statute Book No.3737).
Observing:
Decree of the Minister of Finance No.101/KMK.05/1997 dated March 10, 1997 on customs declarations.
DECIDES
To stipulate:
THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE FORM OF CUSTOMS DECLARATION ON THE IMPORT OF PERSONAL EFFECTS OF PASSENGERS OR CREW MEMBERS OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES(BC 2.2) IN DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE NO.101/KMK.05/1997 DATED MARCH 10, 1997
Article I
To improve the model and content of a customs declaration on the import of personal effects of passengers and crew members of transportation facilities (BC 2.2) as set forth in Attachment VII to Decree of the Minister of Finance No.101/KMK.05/1997 dated March 10, 1997 so that it shall become as attached to this decree.
Article II
This decree shall be retroactively effective as from March 23, 1998.
For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by publishing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
